



First TV Chef Appearance announced for 2025! More to be announced soon!
John Torode will be taking to the stage on Sunday (3 August), to prepare delicious dishes for visitors from the festival’s cookery theatre.
As well as being known for co-hosting and judging BBC One’s MasterChef and Celebrity MasterChef, John is also a regular guest chef on ITV’s This Morning, where he appears both in the studio and out and about on location with Torode on the Road.

Applications for Seaham Food Festival 2025 are now closed. We have had an incredible response to this year’s festival with applications closing on February 14th, 2025.
If you are interested in trading at future festivals please get in touch, send info on your company, pictures of your set up and products/ produce, links to social media and info and where you are based. If you are catering please include a menu, please send to sff@durham.gov.uk. The team will add you to the list for applications opening for 2026. Please note we make announcements through our social channels and website for applications.

This is the first year we’ve had a dedicated music stage at Seaham Food Festival.
On the Saturday we have an exciting line up showcasing some of the best Indie/Alternative bands from the region, including a mix of emerging talent and established names.
Sunday offers a more eclectic mix of genres ranging from pop, to country, jazz and rock n roll.
